The Shield Final featured two teams with rich history of yesteryear, with many of the older names taking seats in the Stadium to witness the match.
Young Men Social Club took the lead in the 40th minute when Jarizhino Simmons scored, but five minutes later the scores were level when Lozendro Symonds found the back of the net as the two teams went to the break with the score 1 – 1.
Symond would put the Devonshire Colts ahead 2 – 1 when he found a bit of space in the box in the 65th minute and slammed the ball pass the Young Men Social Club’s goalkeepers left hand. In the 85th minute Symonds would complete his hat-trick when he scored from close range to earn the Devonshire Colts a 3 – 1 win.

This match featured Robin Hood in their first major Final and the Dandy Town Hornets looking to hold all the Major Trophies available to Premier Division Teams at one time.
Damon Ming gave the Dandy Town Hornets the lead in the 25th minute when he converted from the penalty spot, an own goal three minutes later gave the Dandy Town Hornets a 2 – 0 lead, in the 37th minute Ayshaun Smith scored from a Clay Darrell cross, but before the crowd could settle down Robin Hood substitute Liam Evans scored from some ten yards out to pull them within two, as the Dandy Town Hornets took a 3 – 1 lead into the break.
Four minutes into the second half Antwan Russell pulled Robin Hood within one when he scored from just inside the box, in the 54th minute the score was level when Russell heading in from close range.
With the match evenly balanced Ming would score what proved to be the winner for the Dandy Town Hornets in the 83rd minute with a left footed shot from the edge of the box, handing the Dandy Town Hornets the Trophy.
