Yesterday Islandstats.com among the other sports going on in Bermuda reported that Nahki Wells scored the Huddersfield Town winner after coming off the bench.
However Huddersfield Town boss Chris Powell has confirmed he is on the lookout for a new striker in January. Powell saw top scorer Wells come off the bench to score a late winner in Sunday's 2-1 home victory over Bolton Wanderers.
The former Charlton Athletic boss recently lost Grant Holt after the on-loan Wigan Athletic centre-forward returned to his parent club.
He started with injury-plagued forward James Vaughan and hotshot Harry Bunn up front over the weekend but admits he is still lacking options.
"We are light up front and we will be looking to strengthen in January," he told the Huddersfield Examiner.
Powell is, however, confident Wells will be a big player for them this season, despite dropping the Bermuda international to the bench in recent weeks.
"Nahki will get games and will score goals," added Powell. "He is an important player.
"He might not think that when he doesn't start but I know 100 per cent what he is capable of.
