Over the last year and a half Women’s Football has taken the Caribbean by storm, although they struggle to get recognition in Bermuda they continue to impress their opposition.
Recently the Women won the Island Games title, although it does not count towards anything major, it did build confidence in the National Academy Programme, the fact the Women have advanced to the next round of the Women’s World Cup Qualifiers goes a long way.
The Women recently returned from the Turks and Cacaos with two wins and a draw and will soon head to Trinidad and Tobago to tackle the likes of Jamaica, Haiti and the host.
But National Academy Coach Naquita Robinson and Captain Cheyra Bell took some time out to talk about the experience and what to expect coming up.
