Hitchin held their annual presentation at Canary Club. There was a really positive atmosphere throughout the evening and all the first team squad were in attendance apart from Michael King who had a long standing family event that he had to attend.
Chairman Terry Barratt started his speech by asking everyone to stand as a mark of respect for club stalwart Bunny Dear who sadly passed away this week. He then thanked the management team and players for an excellent season that surpassed his expectations. He then paid tribute to the executive committee, match day helpers and ground staff.
Mick Docking then presented the Gerald Lincoln trophy on behalf of the Executive Club. This award is presented to the most sporting player over the season and the winner was goalkeeper Tahj Bell.
