Hall Sr. & Jr. Looking for Cup Glory on Sunday
This coming Sunday will be special for two people with the same name. Troy Hall Sr. will walk on the National Stadium pitch for a 2pm kick off in the Masters Cup for the St. George’s Stallions and then at 4pm Troy Hall juniors North Village Rams will take to the field for the FA Challenge Cup Final.

Both father and son have taken the time out to advance their skills in the net, with Hall Sr. representing the Country at the Senior National level.

Hall Sr. started his career with the St. George’s Colts before spending time with the Devonshire Colts, while Hall Jr. has represented the PHC Zebras and now the North Village Rams.

In the Masters Semi-Final Hall Sr. and his St. George’s Stallions teammates took the lead in the Lionel Cann found the back of the net in the 23rd minute. Cann doubled the lead six minutes later with his second of the game, Carlos Greaves scored with a low shot from the edge of the box in the 57th minute giving the St. George’s Stallions a 3 – 0 lead over the Devonshire Lions, Cann completed his hat-trick with a strike to the near post to make the Final score 4 – 0 as the St. George’s Stallions advanced to the Master Final.

In the FA Challenge Cup Semi-Final Hall’s teammate Jahron Dickinson’s 11th minute goal was all the scoring in the match as the North Village Rams defeated the defending champions Devonshire Cougars 1 – 0. Dickinson was able to get his left foot to a Kaiwon Dill cross and found the back of the net beating Kioshi Trott from seven yards out to his left.
