Adam Hall’s teammate Nick Vespi took it up a notch on the mound for the Delmarva Shorebirds, who breezed to their 10th shutout victory of the season, 5-0 over the Greensboro Grasshoppers at First National Bank Field.
Hall went 0 for 4 with 2 strike outs in the game, but since falling behind 11-2 through the sixth inning of Thursday night's opener, Delmarva outscored Greensboro 21-4 in the rest of the series, claiming three out of four and the series win, including two shutouts.
