The Cubs took the lead for good in the fourth inning to defeat the Marlins by a 6-5 scoreline.
The game was tied at two with Cubs batting in the bottom of the fourth when Furbert Micaiah walked Malpas Jaden to drive in the go ahead run.
The Cubs built a four-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Marlins's charge, when they scored three runs on a double in the sixth inning, by Dariyon Davis. But the rally felt short with the Cubs winning.
