A day after Adam Hall and his Canadian Junior National teammates defeated the Atlanta Braves prospects, the two clubs met again with the Braves earning a 4-2 win.
The two squads will face each other for the third time in three days tomorrow as the juniors wrap up their Fall Instructional League schedule.
The Braves put three runs on the board in the top of the first, highlighted by a solo home run off JNT starter Connor Angel. A walk single and walk loaded the base before a two run single made it 3-0.
The Juniors got one of the runs back in the fourth as Brody Frerichs and Cooper Davis single to put runners on the corners before Edouard Julien’s groundout scored Frerichs.
The Braves added a run in the seventh as a single and errant pickoff throw from Jack DeCooman put the runner on third who later scored on a double.
Singles from Julien, Davis and Hall loaded the bases in the eighth before Noah Naylor’s sac fly brought in Davis with the second JNT run of the game.
