The Rangers jumped out to an early lead on the Athletics and captured an 11-1 victory in Bermuda YAO Baseball action at Kindley Field.
The game was decided quickly as the Rangers exerted their will early with six runs in the first three innings.
A walk by Andrew Manuel, an error, a walk by Manuel, and an RBI single by Jaden Malpas during the first inning and an RBI single by Kristian Cherrington in the second inning helped the Rangers put some runs on the board early.
Manuel led the Rangers' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored two runs and had one RBI.
Cameron Morris handled the Athletics' lineup with ease, racking up 10 strikeouts. Morris allowed one earned run, two hits and four walks over 4 1/3 innings.
The Rangers added three more runs in the top of the sixth. The inning got off to a hot start when Ayden Morris singled, scoring Manuel. That was followed up by Kyle George's double, scoring Morris and James Cappadano.
