The Blue Jays scored four runs of their own in the 1st. The Blue Jays scored on an RBI single by Tyrese Charves, a two-run error, and an RBI single by Ryan McDowell.
The Blue Jays never surrendered the lead after the 2nd inning, scoring one run on an RBI double by Bobby Bart.
The Blue Jays built upon their lead with four runs in the 3rd. Kyle Hobson kicked things off with a single, scoring Charves.
After pushing across three runs in the top of the 4th, the Rangers faced just a 9-7 deficit. A walk by Huw Swift, an error, and a bases loaded walk by Cameron Morris sparked the Rangers' rally. Caroline Driscoll ended the inning by getting Malpas to strike out.
