Daniel Phillips continued competing in the Gran Canaria Yellow Bowl Under 14 Boys Tennis Tournament in Spain.
Phillips would take on Tancredi Alfano from Italy in his second match of the tournament.
Phillips would win in straight sets 4-2, 4-0.
Phillips and Uwe Diehl from Belgium advanced in the Boys 14 Doubles after their opponents Noah Cherubino and Eduardo Sanchez Jover both from Spain withdrew.
