Trey Mallory has been attending the ITF/COSAT training camp in Brazil, the South American Tennis Confederation (COSAT) in conjunction with the International Tennis Federation (ITF) selected Bermudian Mallory to attend an Elite Training Camp for the best 15 -16 year olds in the Caribbean, Central and South America.
The players have been doing various kinds of fitness tests including a virtual fitness test where they had to use the Oculus which is an American Technology that specializes in virtual reality hardware and software.
The Oculus equipment was used to test players for decision making under extreme fatigue.
Two of the boys were selected to do 2 and half hours of physical exercise before they took the test, at the end of the exercise period the two boys had to stand in one place for another half hour during the Virtual exam.
The test is not only a physical challenge but also it tests players mental strength.
