Tyler Smith representing Jackson State Women’s Tennis went down in the HBCU National Women’s A Singles Final at the South Fulton Tennis Center.
Smith ranked the number one in Singles was defeated by the number two ranked Charlene Goreau from Xavier University in straight sets 6-4, 7-5.
Smith would have some success in the Doubles, Smith and Lucia Solis move on to Finals after they defeated Adrienne Clayton and Aylen Hubeaut from Florida A&M 8 - 5.
In the Doubles Final, Smith and Solis would defeat Kindha Nasef and Yassmine Khiri from the Howard University 8 - 6.
