Players returned to action on Day Five of the 2017 Pomander Gate Bacardi and Martini Tennis Tournament, five matches were played at the Pomander Gate Tennis Club.
The doubles team of Gavin Manders and Ashley Brooks cruised to victory 6-2, 6-1 over Natasha and David Thomas, while Sam Butler defeated Jan Polzar in straight sets 6-3, 6-1 in their Men’s Open Singles match.
One match went three sets and it came in the Men’s Senior Doubles Division with Charles Penruddocke and Len Wedlich defeated Richard Daley and Greg Fitzgerald 4-6, 6-3, 10-7.
