Tyler Smith and her Jackson State University Women’s Tennis teammates went down 4 - 1 to Louisiana State in the season-opener for both teams at the JSU Tennis Courts.
Smith opened the season picking up a Singles win in the number one spot, Smith was leading Marina Garcia 2 - 1, when Garcia was forced to retire injured.
Smith then teamed up with Daria Butorina in the number one Doubles spot and the pair went down 6 - 3 to Abby Johnson and Alexandra Way.
