Two of Bermuda’s 14 & Under Jitic (Junior International Tennis Caribbean and Central America Championships) players took to the courts in El Salvador as it rained off and on.
Bermuda is being represented by Benjamin Jones, Trey Mallory and Shelby Madeiros who all recently played in tournaments in Bermuda over the last two months.
Mallory went down to Aiden Carter of Trinidad & Tobago in the Boy’s Main Draw Quarter-Finals in straight set 6-4, 7-6. Both Carter and Mallory played some exciting tennis which was great for the spectators on hand to watch.
In the Boy’s Consolation Division Jones continued his journey defeating Anthony Burrows of Bahamas in straight sets 4-1, 4-0.
