Carrington Officiates U19 World Cup Quarter-Final

Emmerson Carrington was back in action as an onfield Umpire in the Super League Quarter-Final match between South Africa and England, in the ICC Under-19 World Cup at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound, in Antigua.

Carrington was on duty alongside Rashid Riaz from Pakistan, as South Africa won the toss and elected to bat, with England Under-19s winning by 6 wickets.

South Africa were bowled out for 209, with DeWald Brevis the top scorer with 97, Rehan Ahmed was the pick of the England bowlers returning figures of 10-1-48-4.

In reply England scored 212/4, with Jacob Nethell scoring 88, Brevis was the pick of the South Africa bowlers returning figures of 6.2-0-40-2.
