Delray Rawlins and his Sussex Seconds teammates went looking for their first win of the season when they took on Surrey in the Second Eleven Trophy.
However things did not go as planned, as rain halted play during their run chase handing Surrey a 54 run DLS method win.
Surrey would score 293 all out after their 50 overs, Surrey opener TC Bruce was their top scorer with 172, Rawlins bowled 8-0-65-0.
In reply Sussex were 74/3 after 22 overs, Rawlins was at the wicket when the heavens opened, he had faced 3 deliveries in four minutes at the wicket.
