Delray Rawlins was named the Kingsgrove Sports Twenty20 Cup Final Man of the Match as he helped guide the Sydney Cricket Club to a 36 run victory over Penrith Cricket Club at the Sydney Cricket Ground.
Sydney won the toss and scored 158/7 in their 20 overs with Rawlins leading the batting scoring 57 runs off 42 balls, he hit 4 fours and four sixes in his inning.
Speaking to www.islandstats.com following the game, Rawlins said, “It was a very good experience playing at the SCG, enjoyed every minute of it.”
Rawlins went on about his improvement in bowling saying, “I have been bowling really well and I have been just trying to put my practice into the game.”
The past weekend Rawlins played three matches returning total figures of 17.4-0-70-6, he also scored 65 runs in two innings and he took 2 catches.
