Kamau Leverock and his Cardiff MCCU teammates won the 2017 MCC University 2 Day Championships.

During the game Leverock and his Cardiff MCCU teammates were asked to bat after Loughborough won toss and decided to field.
Cardiff were bowled out for 291, with Jack Scriven the top scorer with 73, Leverock would add 6 batting at number 8. A Tillcock was the pick of the Loughborough bowlers with figures of 10-1-46-3.
In reply Loughborough were bowled out for 266 after 49.2 overs, R White was their top scorer with 81, while A Thomson led the Cardiff MCCU bowlers with figures of 9.2-0-41-5, Leverock bowled 8-0-45-0.
