Reports are suggesting that we are moving closer to the start of a Cricket Season.
www.islandstats.com has been reliably informed that the Bermuda Cricket Board has met with the Ministry of Health to review plans and that the Ministry has granted the approval for clubs/players to commence training.
However in order for clubs to be allowed to move forward they must send a coach and captain/vice captain or senior player to attend a Covid-19 simulation session, under the direction of Arnold Manders to the PHC Stadium on Saturday May 30th.
The session will start at 9:30am, with social distancing guidelines followed everyone must bring and wear a mask.
www.islandstats.com can also confirm that the Bermuda Cricket Board have devised a Covid-19 Response Plan.
Without having a coach, captain/vice captain and Senior Player attend the Social Distancing Training Session on Saturday, May 30th the offending clubs will not be allowed resume training.
