Bermuda's Cricket Top Weekend Performers

The opening weekend of Premier and First Division Cricket produced a total of 3,285 runs over 10 matches. www.islandstats.com brings you the top players of the weekend from results obtained on the day of matches played.

Two matches were not played, with the match between St. George’s Cricket Club and St. David’s Cricket Club postponed until Saturday May 18th, while the match between the Somerset Cricket Club and Devonshire Recreation Club was not played due to a shortage of players on both teams.

The highest score of the weekend for a team was 330/6 Southampton Rangers put on the board against Flatt’s Victoria, Southampton Rangers also put 319 on the board against Cleveland County.

Oronde Bascome from the St. George’s Cricket Club was the top scorer with a knock of 126 against Cleveland County, Tre Manders from the Southampton Rangers would score 110 against Flatt’s Victoria and Terryn Fray scored 105 against Flatt’s Victoria.

With figures of 9.5-2-19-6 Derrick Brangman from Bailey’s Bay led the Bowling, while Joshua Gilbert from Somerset Bridge had the second best figures of 9.0-4-12-5, Kwasi James from Willow Cuts had figures of 8.1-1-16-5 and his teammate Kamal Bashir had figures of 7.0-0-16-5.
