Proctor is a former winner of the Hiscox skills and drills challenge and has been a regular in the Youth Academy whilst Simmons has been one of the dominant players in the BCB Girls Development Program for a number of years.
Proctor will join prep school Maidwell Hall (http://www.maidwellhall.co.uk/) a highly regarded Preparatory School for Boys and Girls aged 7-13 in Northamptonshire. The school has an outstanding record for academic performance and is a feeder school for some of the top boarding schools in the UK. On joining the school Proctor will have access to the Leicestershire County Age Group program to further advance his considerable cricketing process.
Simmons will be joining Felsted School in Essex (http://www.felsted.org/). Felsted is well known for its rigorous academic standards and has strong ties into the Essex County set-up. Former England player Jason Gallian serves as head of cricket in addition to his teaching duties.

Both players have proven themselves to be model young citizens on and off the field as they have progressed through the BCB Development pathway. I congratulate Simmons and Proctor on this wonderful achievement and opportunity and encourage them to grasp it with both hands to further enhance the growing reputation for our young academy players that have flourished in UK. Maybe in four or five years’ time they will be the next Delray Rawlins or Leilanni Nesbeth. I also thank our CEO for his relentless pursuit of development opportunities for our young players.”

I know that Neil and Kellie have been working with Sophy Aitken of Felsted for almost two years to make this happen and we cannot thank the BCB enough for creating this incredible opportunity for Rose.”
