A trio of young cricketers will receive $833 towards the cost of tuition in the 2017/18 academic year as the Bermuda Cricket Board announced that it will be awarding Educational scholarships to 3 young elite players in its high-performance program.
The awards are available due to the generous support of Arch Re.
The Bermuda Cricket Board Scholarship Selection Committee, led by High Performance Chairman Gershon Gibbons, considered:
• Future potential playing contribution • Current and past academic performance • Ability to develop cricketing skills whilst in education • Behavioural history and standards • Previous volunteer commitments to BCB programmes • Financial need
