Having lost a day and a half due to rain Delray Rawlins and his Sussex Seconds teammates and Middlesex Seconds have agreed to extend the match for another day to finish on Friday.
Sussex Seconds resumed their inning at 85/6 after 21.3 overs, they went on to score 188 all out after 46.1 overs, James Godwin went on to score 71 not out, while Ethan Bamber was the pick of the Middlesex bowlers with figures of 18-2-80-4.
Middlesex were then bowled out for 177 after 39.1 overs, with Ravi Patel the top scorer with 36 not out, George Garton was the pick of the Sussex Seconds bowlers with figures of 12-1-50-5. Rawlins held onto 3 catches in the inning.
At the close of play Sussex reached 193/4 after 48 overs holding a lead of 204 runs, Rawlins opening the inning again was out for 26 off 30 deliveries hitting 3 fours and 1 six.
