Sussex featuring Delray Rawlins have their final chance to prepare for the Specsavers County Championship season as they welcome Kamau Leverock and his Cardiff MCCU teammates to The 1st Central County Ground tomorrow for a three-day match (11.00am start).
They have welcomed Surrey, Somerset and Hampshire to Hove for a mix of both red and white ball warm-up matches, and the match beginning tomorrow is also a non-first-class match, with Cardiff MCCU having already played two first-class matches this season.
Sussex have been boosted in their pre-season preparations with the arrival of South African Kolpak signings Stiaan van Zyl and David Wiese, who have joined up with the Sussex camp this week.
Both players are fresh from the South African domestic campaign and will have their first chance gain match practice on English soil this season.
Matt Machan and Luke Wells are both ruled out with wrist and knee injuries respectively, whilst Ollie Robinson also misses out with a shin problem.
The teams will be falling silent for a minute before the start of tomorrow’s game in memory of Matthew Hobden, who played first-class cricket both sides.
