The Bermuda Cricket Board (BCB) High Performance Committee has committed to an extensive outreach program to ensure that no stone is left unturned in the selection process for the National Under 18 squad.
Eligible players not involved in the BCBNA are welcomed to trial.
The squad will compete in Toronto in July against Canada and USA for a place in the 2018 Cricket World Cup.
The outreach program includes High Performance Committee members Dean Minors and Irving Romaine leading the search at Cedarbridge and Berkeley respectively. Minors and Romaine will be hosting regular practice sessions at their schools to give all players an opportunity to be selected. The BCB will be working with all High Schools on the island and have already started the process with Warwick Academy, Saltus and BI.
Additionally, the BCB will be holding Open Trials at PHC on Saturday February 11th from 2pm to 3pm for players interested in representing Bermuda this summer. All players need to be born on, or after, September 1, 1998 to be eligible.
