The Southampton Rangers batted first in the 2016 Champions of Champions Final at the Southampton Oval and scored 339/6 in their allotted 50 overs.
Dion Stovell was the top scorer with 137 not out, while captain Janeiro Tucker added 68, two-one hundred run partnerships guided the Southampton Rangers to their total, the first stand of 102 was a 4th wicket partnership between Stovell and Ricardo Brangman and the second stand of 104 was a 5th wicket partnership between Stovell and Janeiro Tucker.
In reply St. David’s Cricket Club were bowled out for 110, Shannon Raynor was the top scorer with 34 he and Ankoma Cannonier put on a 71 run second wicket partnership, with Cannonier adding 24, the only other batsman in double figures was Oronde Bascome who scored 19. Hasan Durham was in devastating form returning figures of 5.5-2-08-6, three wickets came in his final over, he claimed a wicket on the first two balls, before he was denied the hat-trick by Cejay Outerbridge who was eventually out on the fifth ball of the over. Vernon Eve also chipped in with figures of 6-0-27-2.
