Canada High Performance won the toss sent Bermuda to bat in their opening Tour match of Canada.
Bermuda were bowled out for 228 after 44.3 overs, Kamau Leverock was the top scorer with 70, while Dion Stovell added 54. The pair had a 5th wicket partnership of 116 runs, Leverock had a total of 9 fours in his knock, while Stovell hit 7 fours and 1 six. Canada’s Mark Monfort a former Guyana Under 19 player led the bowling attack with figures of 9.3-0-34-5.
In reply Canada scored 230/8 in 43 overs, Simantha Wijeyeratne was their top scorer with 119 not out, he was dropped on 70, Leverock finished with figures of 8-1-38-4.
