Bermuda Cricket Board Premier and First Division matches resumed, as well as Second Round of the Western County Cup competition took place this past weekend, www.islandstats.com brings you the top performers with both bat and ball for the weekend matches in which we were able to obtain the scorecards on the day of the match.
The weekend’s top scorer was Soloman Burrows with a knock of 101 for Willow Cuts against PHC in their Western County Cup match, Joshua Gilbert scored 94 for the Somerset Cricket Club in their First Division game against the Devonshire Recreation Club and Lionel Cann from Soup Sportsman was the third leading scorer as he scored 68 not out in his team’s 9 wicket win over the Woodgate Keepers.
In the Bowling Department, with figures of 2.3-1-2-5, Jacobi Robinson from the Somerset Cricket Club returned the best figures of the weekend, Jordan Smith playing as a guest player for the St. George’s Cricket Club had the second best bowling figures of 3.5-1-07-4 and with figures of 5.2-1-10-4 saw Lateef Trott have the third best figures while playing for Bailey's Bay.

Digicel and BTC Under 12 MVP Awards
The Bermuda Cricket Board announced the Digicel and BTC Under 12 Super Summer Series Round 1 Results and MVP's.
The West defeated the Axis Angels by 7 wickets, the Axis Angels scored 97. with the West team scoring 101/3, the West MVP was Katherine Bean who retired on 21 not out, while the Axis Angels MVP was Layla Perry who put in an outstanding batting performance.
The East team defeated Bailey's Bay by 12 runs, the East Team scored 84 and then bowled Bailey's Bay out for 72, Gianni Santucci was the East MVP with 17 runs not out and bowled 2 overs giving up only 2 runs. The Bailey's Bay MVP was Kenaze' Cann who had 7 runs and captured 1 wicket.
