Bermuda Cricket Are We Addressing the Suspension Problem?
IslandStats.com
Over the first few weeks of the Bermuda Cricket Board season, we have seen several suspensions handed out for the lack of discipline, we have also seen the public mis-informed about Bermuda possibly using the Red and Yellow Cards for discipline this season.
Back in February www.islandstats.com reported MCC, the Guardian of the Laws of Cricket, is to trial new on-field sanctions including penalty runs and the removal of players from the field in an attempt to arrest declining standards of player behavior, so before everyone believes only in Bermuda players behave in this manner stop and think, if the MCC are trialing it it is a Global problem.
www.islandstats.com asked the Bermuda Cricket Board CEO Neil Speight how is the BCB addressing the issue and also asked if any thought had been given to other ways of getting this under control.
