WESTERN STARS WIN BY 55 RUNS

Western Stars 197/8 Southampton Rangers 142

At the Southampton Oval, Southampton Rangers won the toss and elected to field, Western Stars scored 197/8 in their allotted 50 overs with Justin Robinson the top scorer with 51 not out, while Treadwell Gibbons added 42, Vernon Eve was the pick of the Southampton Rangers bowlers returning figures of 10-3-22-2.

In reply Jason Wade scored 43, but the Southampton Rangers were bowled out for 142, Andrew Raynor added 32, Gibbons then returned bowling figures of 8-0-39-3.

ST. DAVID’S CRICKET CLUB WIN BY 141 RUNS

St. David’s Cricket Club 247/8 Willow Cuts 71

At the Somerset Cricket Club, Willow Cuts won the toss and sent St. David’s Cricket Club to bat, in a match that was reduced initially to 35 overs. St. David’s Cricket Club scored 247/8 in their 35 overs, with Allan Douglas Jr the top scorer with 46, Dean Stephens was the pick of the Willow Cuts bowlers with figures of 6-0-46-3.

In reply the total was reduced to 212 for Willow Cuts to get in 30 overs as they were bowled out for 71. Three players Ryan Shepard, Shaquille Jones and Kwasi James all scored 11 runs, Douglas returned bowling figures of 6-2-12-4, while Fiqre Crockwell bowled 0.3-0-4-2.

BAILEY’S BAY WIN BY 7 WICKETS

Cleveland County 132/6 Bailey’s Bay 91/3

At the Wellington Oval, Bailey’s Bay won the toss and sent Cleveland County to bat and restricted them to 132/6 in 50 overs, Clay Darrell was the top scorer with 34, while captain Rodney Trott led the Bailey’s Bay bowlers with figures of 10-2-28-2.

In reply Bailey’s Bay had to get 91 runs in 20 overs, they scored 91/3 in 15.4 overs. Malachi Jones was the top scorer with 25 not out, while Derek Musson was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 3.4-0-36-2.

DEVONSHIRE RECREATION CLUB WIN BY 9 WICKETS

Somerset Bridge 51 Devonshire Recreation Club 52/1

At the White Hill Field, Somerset Bridge batting first in match that was reduced to 26 overs were bowled out for 51 with 5 ducks in their inning. Jason Smith was the top scorer with 9, while Jamie Smith returned bowling figures of 7-1-13-5 to lead the Devonshire Recreation Club bowlers, Lamont Brangman bowled 2.5-0-5-3.

In reply Devonshire Recreation Club scored 52/1, Jamel Simmons was their top scorer with 19 not out, Toleair Caines was the pick of the Somerset Bridge bowlers with figures of 4-0-13-1.

FLATT’S VICTORIA WIN BY 4 WICKETS

PHC 102 Flatt’s Victoria 104/6

At Lord’s in St. David’s, PHC batted first and were out for 102, Jade Morrissey was the top scorer with 29, Christof Van Tonder was the pick of the Flatt’s Victoria bowlers with figures of 5-0-22-3, and Paul Carr bowled 10-0-26-3.

In reply Flatt’s Victoria scored 104/6, Regino Smith was the top scorer with 62, Colin Stewart was the pick of the PHC bowlers with figures of 6-1-27-3.
