Kamau Leverock and his Newport Cricket Club teammates went down in a losing draw to Pontarddulais Cricket Club in their South Wales Premier Division One 1st XI match.
Newport won the toss and elected to field, Pontarddulais Cricket Club scored 290/5 in their 50 overs, they got 130 off the bat of Owen Morgan who was not out.
In reply Newport scored 239/8 after 50 overs. Leverock batting at the number 7 spot scored 25 off 12 deliveries, Leverock hit 1 four and 2 sixes in his stay at the crease.
