SOUTHAMPTON RANGERS WIN BY 56 RUNS

At Lord’s in St. David’s Cleveland County won the toss and sent Southampton Rangers to bat, after 10 overs Southampton Rangers were 34/3, but went on to score 114 more runs in 60 balls losing only two more wickets. Curtis Jackson made his return against his former club with an aggressive knock of 57 off 40 deliveries hitting 4 sixes and 4 fours, while Kwame Tucker chipped in with 47 off just 18, with 2 sixes and 5 fours. Tamauri Tucker was the pick of the Cleveland County bowlers with figures of 3-0-26-1.

In replay Cleveland County were bowled all out for 92 in 18.2 overs, Jacobi Butterfield was their top scorer with 24, while Bryce Daniels chipped in with 18, it was not a good start of the season with the bat for Allan Douglas Jr who faced only one ball in his first outing for the club amid a host of transfer rumors. Douglas became Ryan Belboda’s third wicket of his second over trapped LBW. Belboda finished as Southampton Ranger’s top bowler with figures of 4-0-17-3.

ST. DAVID’S CRICKET CLUB WIN BY 7 WICKETS

Willow Cuts 64 St. David’s Cricket Club 65/3

St. David’s Cricket Club won the toss and invited Willow Cuts to bat and they were bowled all out for 64 after 13.3 overs, Dean Stephens was their top scorer with 27, while Delyone Borden led the St. David’s Cricket Club bowling attack with figures of 4-0-11-3.

In reply St. David’s Cricket Club scored 65/3, Borden led with the bat as well scoring 35 not out, while Stephens returned figures of 4-0-18-2.
