The Bermuda Cricket Umpires Association have six new active members in their fold, with four of them already making their debut according to the BCUA Education Officer Roger Dill.
On Saturday at the Wellington Oval in a 50 over match between the St. George’s Cricket Club and the Bermuda Under 18 National Team, Dill officiated alongside Cebble Dawson who was making her debut.
Dill said, ‘I think she handled herself very well in her first game, she had to make a decision on the first ball that she was in on umpire giving a batsman out caught, so she worked the nerves out.”
