Back on January 15th, 2015 Islandstats.com posted a story that reports had reached Islandstats.com, that former National Squad and Somerset Cricket Club Cup Match spinner Dwayne Leverock has been appointed as the head coach for the Devonshire Recreation Club for the 2015 Season.
Later that day the report was denied by Devonshire Recreation Club President Nadine Browne-Evans who stated "We are still interviewing candidates and no one had been confirmed."
Browne-Evans released a statement this evening, "The Devonshire Recreation Club, Inc. would like to officially welcome their new Cricket Coach, Dwayne Leverock. The Committee of Management look forward to the wealth of skill that this esteemed athlete brings to the table. We are confident Leverock will afford the much needed structure to assist as we continue to rebuild our cricket programme for adult and youth.
