The Bermuda Cricket Board announced the Bermuda squad selected to compete in the ICC World Cricket League Division 3 Tournament, October 2014.
President of the Bermuda Cricket Board and High Performance Committee Chairman, Lloyd Fray stated, “I can confirm that David Hemp withdrew from the team due to work commitments, however, he is very interested and fully committed to future tours if selected. Stefan Kelly has withdrawn due to school commitments. The following players had earlier declared themselves unavailable Christopher Douglas, Derrick Brangman, Deunte Darrell, Rodney Trott and Stephen Outerbridge.”
Fray concluded by saying, “I would also like to take this time to comment on the recent security concerns with hosting the tournament in Uganda. The Bermuda Cricket Board will never take any health and security risks with the players. We have expressed our concerns to the ICC on a regular basis in over the last 60 days and we are currently awaiting their response from our most recent communication.”
