Kamau Leverock and his Horsham Cricket Club 1st XI teammates went down to Brighton & Hove Cricket Club 1st XI by 12 runs.
Playing in the Sussex Cricket League 1st XI Premier League at the Horsham Cricket Club, Brighton & Hove won the toss and elected to bat.
They were bowled all out for 164 in 48.2 overs, Alasdair Wilson was the top scorer with 38, while Lachlan Sperling added 35. Michael Munday was the pick of the Horsham bowlers with figures of 17-3-49-4, while Leverock bowled 7-1-30-1.
In reply Horsham were bowled all out for 152, in 45.3 overs, William Beer was the top scorer with 32, while Craig Gallagher added 31, Leverock batting at number 7 scored 21 off 32 balls hitting 4 fours. Lachlan Sperling was the pick of the Brighton & Hove bowlers with figures of 13.3-4-25-4.
