Questions for CEO to be Asked by Clubs

IslandStats.com
Question will be put to Bermuda Cricket Board CEO Neil Speight by the affiliates about how Bermuda benefit from the controversial revamp of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

If you read the latest interview involving a senior Official of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), the biggest concern would be Associates in the region.

Vice-president Emmanuel Nanthan says the region is set to benefit greatly over the next decade, those comments come after the WICB supported the ICC’s new governance proposals which were approved in Singapore.

Nanthan, who represented the regional board at the meeting, said that the proposals would not only ensure that none of the full members would be worse off than they are at present, but that they would be significantly better off.

“West Indies had budgeted deficits of US$20 million and $12 million for the last two years. Over the next eight years we will have surpluses and play more regional and international cricket,” he told Grenada Sports.

The Bermuda Cricket Board Affiliates, players and officials will all be interested in finding out firsthand how this will help Bermuda.

With the cricket season just months away, everyone will be looking to see in which direction we as a country in the Sport are heading.
