The annual East-West Senior School All-Star Football Classic takes center stage at PHC Stadium, with the East seeking revenge for last year's 3-0 defeat.
This highly anticipated clash showcases the best young footballing talent from across the island, with players eager to represent their regions and showcase their skills.
The East team boasts a strong defensive line, anchored by Somersfield Academy duo Matthew Troake (Vasco) and Grant Reece (FC Bascome), alongside Saltus contingent Kydan Browne (Wolves), Isai Gibbons and Zachary McGuire (St. George's), and recent Under-16 knockout cup winners Curtis Jackson and Malik Paynter. CedarBridge Academy, fresh off their Over-16 knockout cup triumph, contributes nine players to the squad. PHC goalkeeper Jahneel Maria will be tasked with keeping the West attack at bay.
The East's attacking threat comes from Somerset Trojans' Kameron McNeil, Robin Hood's Jahzion Taylor, and PHC's Xave Smith, with Dandy Town's Dakayo Leverock and Naz Daley, along with North Village's Amir Brangman-Johnson, providing creativity in midfield. Trojans' Dejon Bean and PHC Zebra Dakari Smith-Davis will anchor the defense.
The reigning champions from the West will field a squad with a strong Berkeley Institute presence, including nine players from the school. PHC goalkeeper Jayden Symons will face off against club teammate Maria in a unique battle between the sticks. Wolves midfielder Khari Sharrieff will also face a familiar foe in club teammate Browne.
The West defense will be marshalled by BFA Under-18 league defender of the year Jayden Belboda-Raveneau (PHC), along with club teammate Jayce Fough and Somerset Trojan pair Patrick Dill and Michari Tear-Deleon. Robin Hood's Zias Smith will lead the line for the West, while MSA's Olek Rymon Lipinski anchors the defense alongside club and school teammate Sami Carolo in midfield.
