Andrew Armstrong and his University of Dayton Men's Soccer teammates traveled to Davidson College and dominated the hosts in a 5 - 1 victory.
The University of Dayton pushed their winning streak to three games while Davidson College dropped below .500 on the season.
In the 22nd minute Dayton took the initial lead with a goal from sophomore Cooper Lijewski, his 3rd goal of the season off the assist from fellow sophomore Braden Seel.
Graduate student Hjalti Sigurdsson doubled the lead for Dayton with his shot to the lower left corner in the 42nd minute. It tied him for the team lead with his seventh goal of the season.
In the 61st minute Freshman Armstong added to the margin off assists from Lijewski and sophomore Martin Bakken.
Four minutes later, Armstrong scored his 5th goal of the season, got his second of the game with assists from Bakken and senior Joseph Melto Quiah.
Bakken's 8th goal of the season came when he converted a penalty in the 77th minute to put the game out of reach.
In the 87th minute Davidson managed to break up the shutout with a goal in the 87th.
