Paul Fairclough has named his 16-man England C squad for their trip to Bermuda in June.
The England C will face the Bermuda at the National Sport Center on Tuesday, June 4, in what is the first international fixture between the two nations.
Fairclough says his selection was made with next season’s International Challenge Trophy mind.
Fairclough said, “With a number of players now too old for the next International Challenge Trophy, this trip will enable me to look at a few options for the new campaign to see how they fit in with those players still eligible”
The Bermudians are looking forward to the arrival of England C team and the President of the Bermuda Football Association, Larry Mussenden, feels their presence will be a huge benefit to the county.
Mussenden said: “The visit will motivate and inspire our young players on the Island.
“This opportunity will also provide the Bermuda national team players with another platform by which they can measure themselves against the elite players,” concluded Mussenden.
