With the news that former Fulham manager Roy Hodgson has been named Liverpool's new manager after signing a three-year contract with the Anfield club, comes the possibility of Fulham goalkeeping coach Vic Bettinelli who just last month conducted a goalkeepers coaching course in Bermuda could also be on the move.
As been the norm in the past when manages go to new Clubs they take some of their backroom staff with them when they go. Hodgson, who is not allowed to sign Fulham players as part of his severance deal with the London club, has no restrictions on the backroom staff.
Vic Betinelli, one of England’s finest goalkeeping coaches was a part of the coaching team for the Bermuda National Senior squad when they competed in the World Cup qualifier and Digicel Cup in 2008.
Betinelli’s, 18-year-old son of Marcus just signed a professional contract with Fulham Football Club, of the English Premier League (EPL), was also in Bermuda assisting.
