The Bermuda Women’s Academy took on visiting Wentworth Institute of Technology Women’s Soccer Team, located in Boston Massachusetts at the BFA Field.
Wentworth took the lead early in the first period when freshman Stephanie Crockett scored, however just before the end of the first thirty minute period Bermuda Football Association’s Women’s Leading scorer Shuntae Todd equalized. Todd found space on the edge of the Wentworth box and unleashed a right footed shot that flew into the net.
Early in the second period, Crockett gave the visitors the lead again, a good build up saw Crockett beat the Bermuda goalkeeper to her left with a snap shot, however the lead would not hold up for long, Stacey Babb got a pass from Jessica Furtado and she beat an advancing Wentworth goal keeper to make the score 2 – 2.
Neither team could find the target in the final thirty minute period as Wentworth who will depart Bermuda tomorrow leave undefeated.
