Warwick Academy travelled to Cedarbridge knowing that the winner would most likely go on to win the league.
The pace of the game was exhilarating and the score remained close throughout the first half with the lead changing hands continually. Warwick’s Eron Woods was once again strong in both the scoring and rebounding departments and Tevis Spence was composed as usual at point guard, but Juron Tucker was having a hard time and some calls which went against him affected his game.
In the second half Cedarbridge caught on fire and they went ahead with some very impressive play Warwick Academy, unfortunately could not answer this amazing performance on the night and had to settle with the loss by the score of 62-53.
An entertaining match, but a loss, with Woods leading Warwick with 14 points, while Robele Baker added 9 points, both Tucker and Spence added 6 each.
