The tide turned on Day 2 of the Saltus Football Tour with two defeats. In the 10:30am match, Saltus went down 1 - 0 to St. Andrews College (SAC). St. Andrews who featured William White and Khieri Lespere dominated the first 20 minutes with relentless pressure and went up 1 – 0 in the 23rd minute with a close range shot. After the goal, Saltus finally started to mount some good attacks and dominated the final 15 minutes of the half. Saltus squandered two one-on-one opportunities just before the half time whistle. The second half saw the match turn a bit physical as Saltus poured on the pressure looking for the equalizer. Again, the St. Andrews College keeper turned a one-on-one opportunity around the post for a corner. In the dying minutes Daniel Andrade smashed a 20-yard freekick against the crossbar and the rebound was scrambled out for another corner. Once again, Dimitri Williams had an excellent match in goal to keep Saltus in the match.
In match two, Saltus were defeated 4 - 0 by Appleby College. The Saltus players were feeling the effects of the tough schedule and it showed in the first half as they found themselves down 4 - 0 at halftime. A stern lecture from head coach Tim Figuriedo during the half time break ignited some energy into the team for the second half. Saltus were unlucky on several occasions as Andrade had a close range toe-poke cleared off the line and a shot from 18 yards went inches wide with the keeper beaten.
