Clearwater Middle School retained the Girls Middle School Six A Side Trophy after they defeated Warwick Academy 1 - 0 in the finals of a closely contested tournament.
The East Enders got a goal in the first minute of the final when Zahra Gibbons steered the ball home with her head after a fine cross. Clearwater had finished the round robin stage of the tournament in third place and defeated second place Sandys Secondary Middle School on penalties in the Semi-Final after the game ended in a scoreless tie.
Saltus were impressive winning all five of their round robin matches. Their winning ways came to a grinding halt in the Semi-Finals as they were unable to find the net and Warwick Academy held on a for a scoreless draw, Warwick were eventually victorious after a marathon penalty shoot out.
