The Bermuda School Sports Federation (BSSF) has planned a fund raiser to assist with the medical expenses incurred by the unfortunate injury to Gabriel Wilkinson. Wilkinson is a second year Physical Education and Health teacher at the Berkeley Institute. He is recovering slowly and the rehabilitation process is going to be quite extensive. The BSSF would like to support Wilkinson and his family by sponsoring a Mini Golf Tournament at The Bermuda Golf Academy in Southampton on Friday, November 14th, 2008. The tournament will commence at 7:00 pm with a shot-gun start. There will be a second shot-gun start at 8:00. The entry fee for the tournament is $40.00 per team of four players. Teams may register to play at either of the two times. The BSSF are also soliciting sponsorship for each hole. The company, organization or family name will be displayed at the tee box and on the score card. We are asking for a minimum donation of $200.00 per hole. Wilkinson is a valuable member of the teaching fraternity and the support from his colleagues, friends and the community at large will be a tremendous boost in his recovery process.
