Jahzyiah Samuels-Williams and her Bury Women’s FC teammates went down 4 – 1 to Darwen F.C. Women in North West Womens Regional League action at home.
Leilanni Nesbeth
Leilanni Nesbeth was an unused substitute as her Chicago Red Stars teammates defeated Seattle Reign FC, 2 - 1, at Lumen Field in Seattle. Thanks to goals from Ally Schlegel and Mallory Swanson, the Red Stars have swept the Reign in the regular season. An early offensive push coupled with late defensive resilience led Khano Smith’s Rhode Island FC to its first win in club history on Saturday in a 2-1 victory over Western Conference foe Las Vegas Lights FC at Cashman Field.
Noah Fuson’s first career USL Championship goal in the 45th minute ended up being the match-winner as the Ocean State club weathered a late Las Vegas surge to come away with all three points.

Nahki Wells’ teammate Haydon Roberts netted his first Bristol City goal as City came away from Carrow Road with a point in a 1 – 1 draw with Norwich.

Khano Smith
Khano Smith’s Rhode Island FC team took to the field for their first-ever 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, U.S. Soccer’s Club Championship match against the Charlotte Independence at the American Legion Memorial Stadium.
The definition of a back-and-forth affair resulted in the highest scoring and most dramatic meeting of the tournament thus far as the match ended 4 – 4 after Extra-Time. Charlotte would advance winning the Sudden Death Kicks from the Penalty Mark when their goalkeeper Austin Pack saved Gabby Alves in the seventh round. Dale Eve
